The Lazy Day, The Attraction and The Fast and Furious

If yesterday was a lazy day, today is a very lazy day for me. I've done nothing today but get up after lunch time (people here didn't even bother waking me up), eat a quick lunch alone (I hate it), play Wartune and then slack around. Good thing I thought of writing an update here, as what I am doing right now (if you call this talk an update).

I stayed up until 1 last night watching a Korean drama while browsing/stalking Vin online and while talking to my new love interest. Yehah, I have one and his name is "Mr. Seal Look-Alike". Yes, he is a chocolate guy and he is sweet. Sorry Vin Diesel and Chris Hemsworth for being unfaithful but I can't help the attraction. It was only last night that I had realized I am attracted to Seal.

And he and VS angel Heide Klum do look great together...and ahmm...I'm jealous. ^-^
Who among you here are attracted to Mr. Seal? Raise your hands with me.

Anyway, As I was head down stalking my hunks on the internet (fine, I keyed in Vin Diesel on the search bar), I landed to this website showing a thumbnail of this photo:

Do you still remember this scene from The Fast and The Furious? If not, let this video below remind you...though what I got here is the deleted scene. Lol!

Having reminded of Dom's hunk-iness and of the rest of the cast including, of course, Dwayne (The Rock) and Pual Walker and the nerve-racking stunts of the movie, now I want to watch the latest sequel of the Fast and Furious.  Here is the Fast and Furious trailer:

Love Rain - 1970's Vs. 2012's 3 Seconds Love

((This is an imported post from my drama blog Labzkie (expired) posted on 11-8-12))

I finished watching this Korean drama two weeks ago. It is one of those dramas that kept me awake. For short, this got me hooked watching 'til its end. This is the newest drama that stars Jang Geun Suk, who was the main reason why I decided to watch the drama in the first place. Jang Guen Suk became one of my favorite K idols since I watched that drama he led entitled He's Beautiful.  If you've seen the drama, you'll understand why.

Love Rain, I would say, is the second best drama of JGS that I've watched so far. I was disappointed with that last drama he starred, the Mary Stayed Out All Night with Moon Geun Young. Thinking this newest drama of him might offset that disappointment, I gave it a try. Thankfully, it didn't fail me. A week I spent watching this drama was worth it!

Sypnosis:
"Love Rain" depicts a 1970's pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the children of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love. Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee, an art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be. Now in the present 21st century Korea, Seo In Ha's son, Seo Joon (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with the daughter of Kim Yoon Hee, Jung Ha Na, a cheerful and energetic girl who's personality is different from her mother's. Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents?
Spoiler Alert!!!

Love Rain has a very unique love story. I don't know if this story had ever happened to anyone in real life but if it had, it sure was a tough love.

The 1970's Love
A 3-Second love, it was. In three seconds, a timid art student Seo In Ha (Jang Guen Suk) fell in love with a shy, modest beauty Kim Yoon Hee (Im Yoon Ah). He was contented with just loving her from afar, watching her, and painting her. During their accidental meeting, the two bumped into each other. Yoon Hee dropped her diary unnoticed. In Ha picked it, tried giving it back but Yoon Hee was already away. He decided to keep it. Reading through that diary, Seo In Ha learned a few about Yoon Hee's life, including Yoon Hee's favorite movie line "Love means never having to say you are sorry", which made him fall in love with her even more.

One rainy day, Seo In Ha seemed to muster his courage to approach by offering her a yellow umbrella. They then walked together in the rain under that yellow umbrella, which where the title of this drama derived from. Just as when Seo In Ha was about to spill his love for her, he learned that his bestfriend's 3-second love was also Yoon Hee. He gave way for the sake of his best friend...and then heartaches, twists and turns followed. They ended up parted and after 30 years...Yoon Hee's cheerful daughter Ha Na and In Ha's liberal photographer son Seo Joon met.

Vs. the 2012's
Seo Joon and Ha Na were cats and dogs. If their parents' love story started with a diary, theirs started with a cellphone. Ha Na bumped into Seo Joon and unknowinly dropped her phone into his luggage. Seo Joon who is known to be a playboy and can get a girl to fall in love with him in just 3 seconds seemed an unknown, unattractive guy to Ha Na as his 3-second charm doesn't affect her at all during their first few meetings. Instead, he fell into her 3-second charm first. Feeling the need to always see her, Seo Joon offered Ha Na a room in his building, wherein Ha Na then worked as his personal gardener plus part time model.

Later on, they both finally admitted their love towards each other. They were living happily as lovebirds. Oh my, I love the eye candies during those sweet episodes. Until...they found out that their parents (Seo Joon's dad and Ha Na's mom) are each other's first love and were planning to get married. They had no choice but give up their love and break up. If their parents marriage was pursued, how could they ever live as brothers and sisters? Will their parents' ill-fated love happen to them too? Which love will have a "happy ever after" ending?

Saturday Night with The Good Old Friends

How's everyone? I have just fully recovered from the worst hang-over I've ever experienced in my life from our Saturday night-out. According to my mother, I was taken home by my friends around 3 in the morning and I was walking to our gate barefooted, carrying my pair of 6 inches wedges. Lol! I cannot picture myself in that scenario. I threw up as soon as I woke up in the morning until afternoon. Shaking heads. I remember I swore lots of times that I won't drink alcohol anymore...but I know I am still going to drink again.

I was invited to a night-out last night by a close friend who just got home from Chicago for a vacation. She wanted to have a little batchmates party while she's here and I am one of fortunate friends whom she invited. She picked me up around 4 in the afternoon yesterday to Dipolog City. We dined, we sung and then we rocked the dance floor of Fat Cat. Rocked really? That is what I can remember.

Going to a night-out party, there is one thing that is very important to everyone and that is what to wear. Women in particular are meticulous with their outfit. I, for instance want to look good, sexy and comfortable. I've gained weight over the years so I am now a bit wider. And when you are short and "wide", picking clothes to wear is a real pressure.

Anyway, my mother was so sweet to get me this "thrifted" white top with ruffled flowers adorning the neckline for our night out. It looked pretty and it is very comfortable to wear. I liked the feel of the fabric on my skin. The pleats as well were in good lines - horizontal - helped me look a bit leaner. Plus the price is a killer, Php10.00. Yes, you read it right. Where in the world could you find a killer party top for a killer price? Lol! I like it!
So I already have the outfit to wear in mind. I was relieved for I really was pressured. I was to wear the white ruffled top my mother got me, shorty shorts (of course) and  a pair of sky-high wedges. Just like that in picture above. But then my friend gave me this "All About Me" top with a very sexy cut in the back. I wanted just a simple slip-on wedges but my sister insisted on me wearing her slingback wedges. I ended up wearing the two.

It was such a crazy night. I had a lot of fun! I knew my outfit was way over the top but I didn't care. I only cared about the fun, the friends I was with, the alcohol, the music and then my HOT RED lips. I achieved the Hot Red lips that night with the help of Wethwild's HOT RED shade lipstick, one of the gifts i received from my Chicago friend. Thanks to my friend for this. I like it! It is rich, it is red and it is hot, quite unbelievable after knowing where it is made from.

Anyway, it was a fun, crazy Saturday night for me. I was drunk, I was wasted but I was happy. I had a lot of fun with my good old friends. I hope there will be...part 2?

Chiessy, In Its Simple Cheesy Dress

If you are a blogger, you know what a dress is for a blog. It is the template/layout or the look of the blog. This blog has just gotten its new dress, a cheesy template I designed last night. I decided to dumped that gloomy ambiance and welcomed some lights and glows.

For the last 3 days, I have been sleeping early at around 7 or 8 in the evening. That makes me wake up at 4 a.m. or 5. Whoah, I am back to normal! : ) ) But last night was different. I was so lively, hyper and energetic about designing a new layout for this blog. It happens when I get so excited for having a new blog. Hmmnn, should I create a new blog everyday to always have the energy? Anyway, when I want a new layout I would do everything to make it happen. After gathering all my withering creativity, I came up with this simple but chic design using my life-savior PowerPoint.

Chiessy's New Look Project - Accomplished!

I am grateful to the awesome designers of these graphics I used for my layout. My heartfelt thanks! Without you, Chiessy wouldn't be as cute as it is now. : )

This may look blah to your but it is....

And before I sign off, let me share you my treasured motto:

As bonus,  I made these two Word Arts too. Gosh, I was just so INSPIRED! If you want, you can just save these WAs to your computer to use it later on your blogs or on your scrapbook pages. It is transparent so it is flexible to use. Have a nice day everyone!

Back in The Blogosphere

I have been MIA in the blogosphere for quite a while, blame it to Wartune. I never thought I would be that easy to get hooked by a mere browser game. No online game has ever captured my interest before to the extent of prioritizing it than my blog, which is my source of income. Worst, I am cashing to the said game.Uh-oh! I am shaking my head with disbelief. I started playing Wartune last January and now I am down to my 5th and hopefully, my last character.

Okay, enough with Wartune...this post is about my comeback to the Blogosphere.

It feels good to be back. I have this enthusiasm again for blogging and it is really a good thing. Even with all stresses I had to face brought by my comeback like renewing domains, looking into advertisers inquiries and complaints, posting updates and revamping blog layouts (which I did last night in this blog - as you can see it is a bit wider now), I am still thankful that I suddenly feel the drive and determination again to go back in blogging. Blogging is my first love after all!

At this point, I am prioritizing this blog. Here are my plans for this blog:

  1. Getting this blog a Dedicated Web Hosting Service - I already have a web host in mind.
  2. Getting this blog a new chic Blog Design - I don't design WP blog so I will need a designer for this plan and I already have a designer in mind. My budget is $30.
  3. Updates! Updates! Daily Updates! - one way of getting the page rank of this site to at least 1.
  4. Monetize!!!
